Magic, mystery & adventure can be found in the second book of The Kingkiller Chronicle series. Patrick Rothfuss does it again, but this time provides new challenges for the heart of the story; the legendary, Kvothe.

The Wise Mans Fear has Kvothe dig deeper into his infamous story as he explains his adventures beyond university. We see him embark on a journey to understand his purpose in the world. He travels off to a far land, hoping to develop his reputation through the Maer’s powerful influence but finds trouble once he arrives. After some time, the Maer sends him out on a mission and is forced to get along with new and challenging characters. Along his journey he meets a beautiful mythical being from fables and learns new tricks which make him unearth the hidden power within him: The name of the wind.
